We invite you to join us for our annual Summer Fayre on Saturday 13th June from 11am–4pm. We are planning a free, fun, family friendly extravaganza. A chance for the community to get together and celebrate all of the amazing small businesses and talented folk we have on our doorstep.

We’ll be kicking off the Fayre the night before with a special Chef’s Table dining experience by Ben Southgate with special guest Emma Gunn. They will be providing a five-course, foraged Summer market garden feast. Tickets for Chef’s Table are now live, below:
Main Stage
Moutinho
A live DJ, the perfect backdrop to a summer’s day — expect an eclectic mix of latin, disco funk and northern soul and maybe even a sprinkling of electro, we’ll see where the mood takes us.
The Studios
A community youth performance group, showcasing what they do best.
The Velvet Hour
Serving golden-age glamour in close harmony. From 40’s swing to 90’s pop, this 6 piece group will get you up on your feet for a little boogie.
The Wave Machine
Cornwall based singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. A unique blend of live looping guitar, bass, trumpet and vocals inspired by the rhythms of the ocean. All round good vibes.
Daisy Clarke
A standout artist & songwriter who creates and performs mesmerising, lyrically driven pop music with influences of folk and country music.
Family Fun Zone
A variety of craft, circus, nature activities for all ages.
Imagine Outdoors
A beloved part of the Newquay Orchard family! Matt & Gemma’s Cornwall-based outdoor education CIC brings energetic fun and wild learning for all ages — from bug hunts and nature crafts to bushcraft and foraging. A free drop in based in The Den.
CIRCO KERNOW
Step right up and dive into the fun at the Have a Go Workshop, with Swamp Circus. Perfect for all ages, from little adventurers to big kids at heart! Try your hand at exciting circus skills like juggling, diabolo, stilts, unicycling, and more, all under the guidance of our friendly, trained circus facilitator. A free drop in workshop.
Blystra Arts
A Newquay-based Community Interest Company dedicated to making, promoting and celebrating the arts in our town and beyond. They will be providing a selection of free nature based activities from play with clay to nature based mobile making.
Alma Arts — ALMA Artspace CIC
Newquay’s wonderful community arts organisation, founded to create a space for creativity, conversation and connection. They will be running a free cyanotype workshop from 12pm to 4pm.
Little Rainbow Arts
A local face painter — if your little one ever pretends to be a mermaid, a lion or a superhero then you can swing by and have some fun. This will be a paid activity.
Amongst The Orchard — Family Friendly Performances
Newquay Stage Company are a friendly, talented group who perform Musicals & Pantomimes yearly in Newquay! The company has members of all ages and takes children from aged 10 and upwards. They will be giving us a taster of their upcoming production of Wind in the Willows.
Cscape Dance have a 23 year track record of making spectacular work in gardens and bringing sites and stories to life in magical and memorable ways. They will be performing a duet dance production based on the beautiful book about nature: The Lost Words — which they will be bringing the full version of to Newquay Orchard in August.
Watch in wonder as Bubbles the Faerie creates spectacular bubbles and enchanting moments that will have children (and adults!) utterly spellbound. @bubbles_the_pixie
Wellbeing Area
If you need some time out to recharge away from the busyness of the Summer Fayre, @heartsaunas has put together a chilled mix of wellness activities for you to drop in and try out as you please. Wellness Area curated by Heart Sauna.

Hidden amongst the blossoms at Newquay Orchard, Katie’s Cornish-built, wood-fired sauna invites you into warmth, stillness, and connection. Surrounded by nature and birdsong, come with a friend and let the heat soften you. Bookings via link in bio. @heartsaunas
🌳 Nature Connection Walk with At Home With Trees
A gentle guided walk designed to help you reconnect with the natural world and with yourself. Along the way you’ll pause for simple nature connection practices — sensory awareness, quiet observation, and moments of genuine stillness. Meet in the wellness area at 12pm to begin the walk.
🧘 Aroma Yoga with Childs Pose Yoga
Lucy’s classes are focussed on leaving the noise of life behind and being totally present on your own yoga mat, while building strength and stretching corners of the body that can get neglected. @childs_pose_yoga
🪷 Mindfulness Taster with Katie Austin Mindfulness

Chef’s Table with Ben Southgate & Emma Gunn: Summer Market Garden Feast
We’re kicking off the weekend of our Summer Fayre with a pretty special Chef’s Table event on the evening of Friday 12th June with our Head Chef Ben Southgate (ex Bedruthan Hotel and Rick Stein’s). This will be a huge celebration of homegrown seasonal vegetables.
Ben has carefully put together a five-course menu using as much produce as possible from our market garden. He will be joined by special guest and foraging expert Emma Gunn, who will be helping prepare the dishes as well as giving a talk on the foraged items you’ll be served on the plate.
Local wine bar The Bottle will be providing a beautiful wine pairing menu. They specialise in natural, biodynamic wines so you’re in for a real treat!
This will be a truly special night set outside amongst the peaceful setting of the orchard.

- A beautiful outside dining experience within the grounds of Newquay Orchard
- A 5-course meal created by head chef Ben Southgate using as much homegrown produce from our market garden for just £45pp
