Organisers of the inaugural Nansledan Arts Festival have thanked the community and local businesses for helping to make it a great success – and are already looking ahead to future events.

The festival, held on the 20th and 21st of September, included a packed schedule of diverse events spanning live music, workshops, craft fair, talks and trails. And despite a dramatic thunderstorm putting paid to a planned Picnic in the Park, it failed to dampen the spirits.

Organiser Nicola Craddock said: “We set up Nansledan Arts Festival with the aims of bringing opportunities to our community for joyful connection through the arts. We wanted to offer a platform for local developing artists and share pride in the things that make Nansledan special.

“We’re thrilled to look back on the first-ever Nansledan Arts Festival 2024, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who played a role in its success. Whether you offered advice, hands-on support, or simply joined us during the events, your involvement was truly invaluable.”

Nicola said the team was gathering feedback on the festival to help shape future events via an online form that can be filled out by clicking this link.
