What is the story of Shiva Studio?
Jimmy and I have been travelling for over a decade and spent a good chunk of that time in India, running Yoga Teacher Training on the beach front in Goa. It was such an incredible experience where friendships flourished and jimmy cooked incredible dishes; the food and social side was a huge part of why we loved being there so much and basically wanted to bring that vibe back to Cornwall, which is HOME for us! We started Shiva in 2020 and it's been an incredible journey so far.

We offer everything from beginners yoga classes to advanced teacher training. We specialise in injuries & rehabilitation and are often referred to by physios. Whether you're looking for yoga for mindfulness, sound baths or a strong vinyasa class, we have something for everyone.

Why did you choose Nansledan for Shiva Studio?
We chose Nansledan because we thought it was really exciting to be part of a growing community! When we worked in India, we would teach a class and then everyone would come in for coffee and breakfast, and we wanted to recreate that in Cornwall. It was perfect timing with lockdown, as we became somewhere that people could benefit from socially when studios opened up again.
