Only months after KM Aesthetics opened its doors at Nansledan, the business is already set to expand.
Kelly Moss, owner of KM Aesthetics, is due to develop her growing business, snapping up the adjacent premises to her current base at Nansledan, the Duchy of Cornwall’s extension to the seaside town of Newquay.
Originally based at Kelly’s home in Porth, the medical clinic offers a whole host of aesthetic treatments for a growing base of clients.
Medical professional Kelly said: “I originally looked around Nansledan with my daughter, who was looking at houses, and just enquired about business space, which I found to be really affordable. Nansledan is really up and coming, and is high end. That’s what I wanted my clients to feel – that they were coming into luxury. I chose this particular building as it’s a bit more private and confidential.”
Trained midwife Kelly is not only looking to expand her premises, she is also looking to increase her treatments. She is planning for the new area to have a more spa-like feel, and is going to offer Swedish, pregnancy and baby massage, alongside her existing treatments.
She will also use the space to offer training to other medical professionals, who are looking to attain accreditation. Kelly is an avid believer in continual development, attending regular training courses, to keep herself, and her knowledge, up to date.
Kelly added: “I have a really great client base. All of my clients have continued visiting since I have moved here, and I have gained new ones as well. I have a real mix of people coming to see me, with ladies and gentleman even coming from all over the UK, and even from as far away as Spain and America to have their treatments.
“This is such an exciting time for me and Nansledan is such a lovely spot to see my business grow.”
Nansledan is being developed on Duchy-owned land to the east of Newquay and will eventually comprise around 4,000 homes mixed with retail, offices, workshops, green spaces and a range of community facilities. It is being built by a consortium of South West building companies which includes Wainhomes, CG Fry & Son and Morrish Builders.
