Education is an important part of the sustainability strategy for Nansledan to ensure that children can be schooled close to home and to meet growing demand for primary school places in Newquay.

Nansledan includes a new primary school called Skol Nansledan that has been designed to accommodate 420 pupils in 14 classrooms. It opened in September 2019. Click here to visit the school’s website.

The consortium building Nansledan is also working closely with the Duchy and local education providers to develop support for higher education placements and apprenticeships schemes. This will foster local skills, trades and professions.
