Work is about to start on the next phase of Nansledan with 122 new homes and four new commercial units.
Morrish Homes is building the first phase (6A on the plan above) of the Rialton Quarter on land to the right of Quintrell Road, and south of Rialton Road.
The 122 new homes will comprise a mixture of one to four bedroomed properties, with 84 available for open market sale and 38 available as affordable homes, with 18 affordable rented and 20 shared ownership properties.
There will be four ground floor commercial units with eight flats above in the Mermaid Building, across the road from the existing Seahorse Building. There will also be a series of community allotments to complement the existing Duchy allotments along Rialton Road, and an informal play area.
The first homes in the Rialton quarter are expected to be completed in Spring 2022, with the second phase (6B on the plan above) of 143 new homes following later.
