Nansledan-based vintage fashion store Love of Lemons has won the Muddy Stilettos award for Best Women’s Fashion Store in Cornwall.
Love of Lemons is a uniquely curated edit of vintage clothing, accessories, and lifestyle goods, alongside a range of sustainably produced new brands.
When asked what winning this award meant to her, owner Bex Osman said: “Honestly just can’t believe it so overwhelmed and shocked!
“I’m just a little independent and also just two years old so this is the best confidence boost I could ask for.”
Bex opened the store in October 2021 and has since built a loyal customer base of clothing fans who love her hand-picked, one-off pieces and styling with the new.
The store is the culmination of a lifelong dream for Bex, who decided to dive into setting up her own fashion business during lockdown.
Since using her parents’ spare room to store stock and invite customers over for one-to-one styling appointments, Bex has opened an award-winning store and has more plans for growth.
Bex said: “Being in the community and watching Nansledan grow is super exciting and to be part of this is the best.
“I just want to say a huge thank you from my heart to everyone that took the time to vote for me and support my dream as without them I wouldn’t be doing this, also to the other amazing finalists.”
