The Royal British Legion will be hosting a Remembrance service on Saturday 11th November at the Centenary Woodland next to Skol Nansledan.
The service is open to anyone who would like to attend from 10.40am for a prompt 10.45am start. Lounge suits, service dress and medals may be worn.
The 100 trees that make up the Centenary Woodland were planted by the Duchy of Cornwall in 2021 to commemorate the centenary of the Cornwall Royal British Legion. The woodland was officially opened by Colonel Edward Bolitho OBE, Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, on November 11 that year.
In March 2022 the woodland was officially dedicated by His Majesty King Charles III, then known as The Duke of Cornwall, to The Queen’s Green Canopy project, as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
