The Duke of Cornwall toured Nansledan as part of his annual two-day visit to Cornwall and Devon with the Duchess of Cornwall in July.
As well as meeting members of the project and construction teams, the Duke was shown examples of lettering that will adorn the art deco buildings on site, and early designs for different motifs that will be used to characterise each quarter.
He also met The Revd Sandy Osgerby of the Newquay, Perranporth and St Agnes Methodist Circuit, who explained plans for the Newquay Methodist Centre, which aims to be the spiritual and social hub of Nansledan.
The Duke then toured the Duchy’s completed Tregunnel Hill development in Newquay, meeting local residents.
